Weld Shop

Our welding department, serviced by a 7.5 tonne overhead crane, undertakes an extensive range of repair, maintenance and production welding. Staff are certified to NZS4711 and have access to all modern and less common welding processes, enabling them to choose the most cost effective method for the job. We have sophisticated profiling, cutting and punching machines to fabricate metal components before they are welded. Technical knowledge is continuously updated through our close association with the Heavy Engineering Research Association, the Marine Division of the Ministry of Transport and welding consumable manufacturers and suppliers.
