Ward is the engine shop supervisor at Stevenson Engineering’s East Tamaki workshop.
One of the original workers back in the old Stevenson Engineering workshop in Otahuhu, Ward started here as a mechanic 30 years ago
Over the years, he has put his passion for big engines to good use, providing our customers with a high and consistent level of work that only comes with the extensive experience and knowledge he has.
Ward is a firm believer in getting the job done and getting it done right first time, and insists that teamwork is a huge part of that.
“A lot of people have to do the right thing at the right time to get the result you want at the end, so it involves a lot of teamwork. The people here have an incredible skill base, so there’s always someone who specialises in a particular field. Everyone plays a part.”
