Sunnen HTC 5002 Honing Machine

The H.T.C.computer controlled tube honing machine has easy set up and during the honing cycle, the stroke length, position and speed can be adjusted at any time. With the computerised stone feed control system, compensation is made continuously for stock removal and stone wear, keeping the operation running at peak efficiency. The graphical display of the spindle load indicates the high and low areas in the tube bore. The machine then adjusts the stroke position automatically, reducing the cycle time.

Features include:

• Capable of honing from dia 50 mm to 1000 mm, and 5 metres in length, in one pass. (10 metres in length if you end for end the work piece)
• Special mode to automatically correct bore geometry errors, tight spots, tapers etc
• Optimum surface finishes are achieved every time
• Improved efficiency due to greater material removal rates- resulting in cost savings
