Jason is a technical account manager at Stevenson Engineering

As someone who started with us as an apprentice fitter and turner 23 years ago, Jason’s background as a tradesman is a huge benefit in his current role.

“With my experience, I am able to visit clients and suggest new solutions to improve their business operations. I look at what they need done and provide them with options of what we can do, depending on their business objectives.”

He credits the thorough training he was put through as an apprentice for his knowledge, where he did time in all the divisions, from weld shop, hydraulic shop, to heavy plant and machine shop.

“Stevenson Engineering has given me diverse training opportunities, and has also taught me the basics of everything, so I understand what we are doing, what it’s for, where it will go and so on.”

Since then, Jason has travelled widely in his job and seen many engineering workshops, and believes that we are the best at what we do. It’s our one-stop-shop facility we have here, he says, that allows us to do so much for our customers.
