Gary is an account manager at Stevenson Engineering,
where he looks after new business development.
In the 3 years he’s been with us, Gary has used his 17 years of sales and account management experience to good use, helping grow the business by ten percent. What makes this fact even more impressive is that it all happened during an economic downturn.
As a keen boatie, he’s also taken a particular interest in Stevenson Marine, and has been part of its development from its small beginnings into one that accounts for 10% of our gross income.
A firm believer in team work, he credits Stevenson Engineering’s success to each and every single person who works there.
“I think that one of our strengths in this company is our teamwork, and our ability to go the extra mile. We’re prepared to work the hours to get the job done, everyone’s self-motivated – that’s what made this company successful.”
Another reason for Stevenson Engineering’s success, he says, is the huge range of skill sets, our comprehensive facilities and the variety of work we are able to undertake.
“Because of our wide diversity, we’ve been able to expand into other areas, like mining. And that’s our strength – we have so many different things happening here, great facilities and such a huge range of skills.”
An engine reconditioner by trade, Gary knows what he’s talking about when it comes to the more technical parts of the engineering business. And it’s knowledge and experience like his that makes him the man to go to if you want to know what Stevenson Engineering can do for your business.
And like most of the employees at Stevenson Engineering, Gary also enjoys tinkering with machinery in his spare time. As the proud owner of a motorbike and boat, you’ll find him zooming down the roads with the wind in his hair, or relaxing on his boat when he’s not at work.
